We collect almost nothing

If you turn on notifications: the address your browser’s push service issued for this site, the two encryption keys your browser generated for it, and each search you saved — its keyword, brand, category, price limit, ZIP code and distance, whichever you set — with how often you chose, when you saved it and when we last sent one. That is the entire record. There is no name, email address or IP address in it, and nothing about which listings you looked at.

If you tap “Use my location”: your browser sends us your approximate coordinates once, we look up the nearest ZIP code and send it back, and the coordinates are not stored or logged. Only the ZIP code you then save is kept, as part of the search.

If you signed up for email round-ups before September 23, 2026: we hold your email address, whether you chose daily or weekly, and the date. The round-ups never started and the signup form is gone. Nothing has been sent to that list. Ask us and we will delete your address.

If you use the store locator: the ZIP code you type is used to find nearby stores and is not written to any database. It is not attached to you and not retained.

Server logs. Our host records standard web server logs — request time, page, browser, IP address — as any web server does. We do not analyse them and do not combine them with anything else.

There is no analytics package on this site. No Google Analytics, no heatmaps, no session recording, and no advertising pixels.

This site sets no cookies and carries no third-party tracking of any kind. There is no advertising pixel, no analytics tag, and no affiliate network script. Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page here does not reach any other company.

Links to listings are affiliate links. eBay links carry eBay Partner Network tracking parameters, and Reverb links pass through Awin (awin1.com) on their way to Reverb. When you follow one, eBay or Awin may set their own cookies on their own sites so a purchase can be credited to us. That happens on their sites, not this one, under their policies: eBay and Awin.

Notifications use a small script your browser keeps for this site (a service worker). Its only job is to show a notification when we send one. It does not track you or cache pages.

Nothing on this site depends on being tracked. If you block third-party cookies or run a content blocker, everything works exactly the same.

• Your browser’s push service — Google for Chrome, Mozilla for Firefox, Apple for Safari, Microsoft for Edge — delivers each notification. The contents are encrypted with your browser’s keys, so the push service carries them without being able to read them.
• Render — hosts the site and the database your saved searches, or an earlier email signup, are stored in.

That is the complete list. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we never will — there is no version of this business where that makes sense.

“Your notifications” on the home page deletes any saved search, or all of them at once along with your browser’s push address. If you block notifications in your browser instead, the next one we try to send fails and we delete the record then. If you would rather ask directly, or want to know what we hold about you, email jstanton812@gmail.com and we will delete it. The record is small, so that request takes seconds to honour.

Depending on where you live you may have a legal right to access, correct, or delete your data, or to object to its processing. The same address handles all of those.

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will remove it.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to what we collect will be announced on the site rather than made quietly. The terms of service cover using the site itself. Questions go to our contact page.
